Eight new comers to Grenada’s Under 19 Cricket Squad.

ST GEORGE’S, June 4, 2015 – Eight new faces will take the field for Grenada when the WINLOTT Windward Islands Under 19 Cricket Tournament bowls off from June 25 to July 3 in Dominica.

The new comers to the 13 man squad includes Windward Islands Under 17 Captain Emmanuel Stewart and Mikel Joseph from Carriacou, fast bowlers Jonathan Taylor, Josh Matthew and Dillon Matthew along with prolific St. Andrew top order batsman Anil Matthew, Shakim Charles and Johann Jeremiah.

Grenada’s Under 19 Squad is captained by fast bowling all-rounder Ryan John, who was a part of the West Indies Under-19 training camp in Barbados earlier this year.

John is one of five (5) players from last year’s squad which won the Under 19 tournament in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The other players are Vice-Captain Chard Charles, leg spinner Darel Cyrus along with middle order batsmen Cameron Augustine and Daniel McDonald.

The team is being coached by Junior Murray with James Frank as the Manager.
