St. Andrew and St. Patrick to play for Women’s Cricket Title.

ST GEORGE’S, June 23, 2015 – St. Andrew and St. Patrick will contest the final of the GRENLEC/Grenada Cricket Association’s Women’s Premier League on Saturday at the River Sallee Playing Field.

St. Andrew booked their spot following a seven (7) wicket victory over St. George on Sunday.

St. George posted 78 for 7 in 18 overs with Anisha Thomas and Rachael Cyrus top scoring with 14 runs each. Pick of the bowlers were Carina Noel (three for 32) and Afy Fletcher (two for 17).

In reply St. Andrew got to the 82 losing three wickets in the process. Afy Fletcher top scored with 29 runs while Debbie Ann Lewis two for 32 was pick of the bowlers.

Meanwhile St. Patrick earned their place in the final with a nine wicket win over St. John.

Batting first St. John were dismissed for 82 in 12.4 overs. Lindel Lewis and Nathalia Vincent top scored with 14 and 1 respectively.

St. Patrick got home on 83 for one with Mary Sylvester and Shantan Charles unbeaten on 35 and 21 respectively.

St. Patrick, St. Andrew and St. George all finished on four points having won two games and lost one each. However the top two made it to the final on Net Run Rate.
