ROSEAU, Dominica, June 28, 2015 – Once again wickets tumbled as the WINLOTT Windward Islands Under 19 Tournament entered it’s third round in Dominica.
On Sunday, Grenada went down to host Dominica by 30 runs.
After winning the toss, Dominica elected to bat and posted 195 in 49.2 overs. Kyle Cabey top scored with 112 runs. Jonathon Taylor bagged 3 for 16 while Cameron Augustine and Daryl Cyrus picked up two wickets each.
Grenada in reply only got to 167 in 44.4 overs with Daniel McDonald and Captain Ryan John top scoring with 64 and 49 runs respectively. Joshua Challenger was the pick of the bowlers with figures of six for 31 off 9 overs.
On Friday, Grenada had to settle for a share of the spoils as rain brought their match against St. Vincent and the Grenadines to a premature end.
Over eighty wickets have fallen in the tournament thus far.
Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines will meet on Monday in their final round 2 match while Dominica will play St. Lucia.
