ST. GEORGE’S, April 13, 2016 – Once again Grenada will be represented on the Windward Islands Under 15 Team when the Regional Under 15 Tournament bowls off in the coming months.

Following the WINLOTT Windward Islands Under 15 Tournament which was held in Dominica, four (4) Grenadian cricketers were selected to be apart of the Windwards team.

The selectees are team MVP Anthony Dunbar (left handed batsman and right-arm medium pacer) who attends the MacDonald College, Jamie Buddy (left-handed batsman and right-arm medium pacer) St. Andrew’s Anglican Secondary School, Kayden Felix (right-handed batsman) from the St. David’s Catholic Secondary School and Seandell Regis (left-handed batsman and right-arm medium pacer) who attends the Grenada Boys Secondary School -GBSS.

All the selected players were first-timers to Grenada’s Under 15 squad which placed second in the just concluded Windward Islands tournament.

Speaking to Spice Isle Sports Review, President of the Grenada Cricket Association Dwain Gill says “the four players have worked hard over the last few months and are deserving of their selections.”

The president further stated “they have continued Grenada’s rich tradition of talented players being selected to represent the sub-regional team.”

Grenada will host the West Indies Under 15 Tournament in July and Gill says the GCA is excited to see these players in the tournament hosted right here.
