Premier League goes into high gear.

ST. GEORGE’S, June 13, 2016 – Only one game was played on Sunday as the 2016 Grenada Premier League went into high gear.

Queen’s Park Rangers (QPR) and Hard Rock had to settle for a share of the points following a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation time.

Both teams went into the half goaless and it was QPR that opened the scoring in the 56′ when Alister Flemming netted.

Six minutes later Hard Rock leveled the scores at one as Samson Charles’ shot got past the keeper.

Despite many chances neither team was able to get the go ahead goal which resulted in a draw.

Meanwhile two weekend games were rescheduled for Tuesday.

St. John’s Sports will be host to Fontenoy United at Cuthbert Peters Park at 7:00 pm while Chantimelle FC and Boca Junior will play at Chantimelle Playing Field and is expected to kick off at 4:00 pm.
