Hat-trick gives Stars win in GFA Conference match.

13418718_1088352534556998_4137159873564869033_nST. GEORGE’S, June 24, 2016 – A hat-trick from Steven Williams guided South Stars to a come from behind victory over TA Marryshow Community College (TAMCC) in the latest round of matches in the GFA Conference.

TAMCC opened the scoring in the 35′ via Teddy Perry and found themselves up 2-nil going into the half when Darrel Cyrus netted in the 44′.

On resumption of the second half, Steven Williams netted in the 46′, 52′ and 56′ to complete his hat-trick and put South Stars ahead 3-2.

Rondell Roberts netted in the 74′ to level the scores on three goals a-piece but six minutes later Levon Baptiste scored to put Stars ahead once again and that’s how it all ended; 4-3 in favor of the hosts.

Meanwhile over at Tanteen, Carenage FC and Morne Jaloux had to settle for a share of the points following a 2-2 draw.

Kevin Charles scored in the 17′ and 61′ to complete his brace for Carenage while Bernard Williams and Shardon Nelson netted in the 12′ and 84′ respectively  for Morne Jaloux.

In the day’s other game, North Stars thumped Herb Roots 4-nil at Cuthbert Peters Park.

An own goal by Vishon Smith gave North Stars and early lead before Don Franklyn made it two in the 21′.

Trevon Springer added his name to the score sheet in the 77′ while Samora Fraser scored the final goal in the 81′ to give the St. Patrick’s Team a lopsided victory.
