Andre Fletcher Under 15 cricket bowls!

Cricket-Ball-and-Bat-Images-546x365ST. ANDREW, January 16, 2017 – There were wins for St. Andrew, St. Patrick and St. David as the Andre Fletcher Under 15 Cup bowled off over the weekend.

Defending Champions St. Patrick started their bid for a consecutive title with a 6-wicket win over St. Mark at the Alston George Park in Victoria.

After winning the toss, the champions elected to field and restricted their opponents to 62 all out in 21.1 overs.

In reply St. Patrick got to 63 losing four wickets in the process. Jamil Rocastle was the man of the Match.

In other games played, St. Andrew has a 4-wicket win over St. George at Progress Park.

Batting first St. George posted 100 for 9 in 42.4 overs with Tiron Charles unbeaten on 38. Cordel George was pick of the bowlers with 5 for 25 in 7.4 overs.

St. Andrew’s replied with 102 for 6 in 18.4 overs with Daran St. Cyr top scoring on 31. Husifer Mortala was pick of the bowlers with 3 for 14.

Cordel George was Man of the Match.

Meanwhile,  on Saturday St. Andrew had a 3-wicket loss against St. David at Progress Park.

St. Andrew posted 140 for 4 in their allotted 50 overs with half centuries from Daran St. Cyr and Tiron Charles.

St. Cyr’s knock of 57 runs included 5 fours and 1 six while Charles’ 51 included 6 fours and 6 sixes.

Jahiem Brathwaite and Shaun Matherson bagged two wickets each.

In reply St. David got to 142 for 7 in 22.2 overs.

Teddy Bishop top scored with 49 runs while Joshua John picked up 4 for 34 in five overs.

The Andre Fletcher Under 15 continues this weekend!.
